Love when you find your favourite spritz but can’t take it everywhere with you? Calvin Klein has solved this problem by packaging its men’s and women’s CK One Shock fragrances into slender, silicone-skinned, mini-flasks that cheekily mimic the iconic iPod in design, and that can accompany you anytime, anywhere.
CK One Shock Absorber for Her is a light, floral oriental with notes of passion flower and peony expressed at first sniff; liquid chocolate, blackberry and jasmine defining its heart; and amber, vanilla, patchouli and musk delivering a warm and glowing, lasting impression.
The men’s fragrance is a bold one, which sparkles on top with clementine, cucumber and lavender; relies on a sexy, aromatic centre of osmanthus, black pepper, cardamom and basil; and leaves a light—almost sweet—oriental finish via tobacco, amber, musk and patchouli. (We’re thinking cologne-loving women will adopt this one too.)
Consider the portable CK flasks, and their matching ticket price—$18 each—an opportune way to test these new releases without a budget-busting commitment. The vials are also tailored to today’s modern-day traveller: They’re small enough to tuck into any clutch and will be a 20-mililitre non-issue when you land at airport Customs.
