Global beauty brand Avon teams up with rock legend Jon Bon Jovi for its upcoming his-and-hers Unplugged scent launch.

The 50-year-old rocker joins Reese Witherspoon, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, Salma Hayek, Courtney Cox, Patrick Dempsey and Derek Jeter in the long list of celebrity scent partnerships inked by the $11-billion company, which sells its beauty and fashion products in 100 countries around the globe. Fergie’s fragrance, Outspoken by Fergie, which launched in 2010, has been the company’s best-selling spritz.

That this new Avon women’s scent, Unplugged for Her—a floral oriental with plum, black dahlia, and creamy woods; and the men’s version, Unplugged for Him—a woody floral musk complete with pepper bourbon and cashmere woods, are both fronted by Bon Jovi speaks to the popularity enjoyed by the hunky musician and his Grammy Award-winning band. It’s a popularity that has motivated sales of some 130 million albums over the course of nearly three decades.

Those kinds of crazy numbers bode well too, of course, for the anticipated popularity of these likable Unplugged spritzes.

The only caveat? You’ll have to wait. Unplugged for Her launches in October; Unplugged for Him, in November.
